Welcome to Her Place Online Community.
These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit or use the Her Place website, create an account, register for the Her Place Directory, access resources, participate in events or activities, purchase a membership or service, or otherwise interact with Her Place.

By using this website or registering for a Her Place service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Her Place Online Community is operated by Toni Marie Livesey, ABN 14 768 834 673, also trading as Total Website Management.

About Her Place

Her Place is an Australian online community created to help women discover, connect and grow through information, resources, business connections, community activities and opportunities to connect with others.

Her Place may provide services and activities including:

• the Her Place Directory
• member resources and downloadable guides
• articles and information
• events, workshops and Her Place Conversations
• newsletters and community communications
• other services and opportunities introduced as the community develops.

Information and resources provided through Her Place are intended for general informational and educational purposes.

They are not intended to replace professional medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Using the Her Place website

You agree to use the Her Place website lawfully and respectfully.

You must not knowingly:

• interfere with the operation or security of the website
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, accounts or information
• submit unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful material
• impersonate another person or business
• use the website in a way that may harm Her Place, its members or other users
• use information obtained through Her Place for unsolicited marketing, spam, harassment or other inappropriate purposes.

We may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect Her Place, its members or the integrity of the community.

Her Place Accounts

Some Her Place services may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your login details secure.

You must not knowingly allow another person to use your account in a way that breaches these Terms.

Please contact Her Place if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Her Place Directory

The Her Place Directory is designed to help people discover and connect with businesses, organisations and services.

Directory members are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate, appropriate and current.

You must have permission to provide and publish any text, photographs, logos, trademarks or other material submitted for your Directory profile.

Submission of a Directory registration or listing does not automatically guarantee publication.

Her Place reserves the right to review a listing before publication and may reasonably edit content for spelling, formatting, presentation or clarity while preserving its intended meaning.

We may decline, suspend or remove a listing where we reasonably believe it:

  • contains misleading, unlawful or inappropriate information
  • infringes another person’s rights
  • does not meet the purpose or standards of the Her Place Directory
  • poses a risk to members or visitors
  • breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Where appropriate, we will endeavour to contact the Directory member before making significant changes to or removing a listing.

Keeping Your Directory Profile Current

Directory members are responsible for keeping their business information reasonably current.

Depending on the facilities available through the member area, members may be able to update certain profile information themselves or request that Her Place make changes on their behalf.

Her Place is not responsible for consequences arising from information that has become inaccurate because a member has not provided updated details.

Directory Memberships

Directory memberships may be complimentary, promotional or paid.

The applicable membership period, price, inclusions and any special conditions will be explained when you register or purchase a membership.

Membership benefits may evolve as Her Place grows. Where practical, significant changes affecting an existing paid membership will be communicated to members.

A Directory membership relates to participation in Her Place and does not guarantee enquiries, leads, sales, website traffic or other commercial outcomes.

Complimentary and promotional memberships

From time to time, Her Place may provide special promotional membership offers.

The complimentary 12-month Her Place Directory Membership offered to eligible conference attendees in 2026 provides Directory membership for the stated 12-month period.

The complimentary period begins in accordance with the conditions communicated with the offer or when the membership is activated.
The offer does not create an entitlement to ongoing complimentary membership after the promotional period ends.

Before the complimentary membership expires, Her Place may invite the member to continue with an available membership option.

There is no obligation to continue with a paid membership unless the member actively chooses to do so.

Membership Fees and Payments

Where Her Place offers paid memberships, events or other paid services, prices and payment terms will be displayed or communicated before payment is required.
Payments may be securely processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider.

Her Place does not need to directly receive or store complete payment card details when payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

Any recurring payment arrangement will be clearly identified before a person agrees to it.

Renewals and Cancellations

Renewal arrangements for paid Directory memberships will be explained when the applicable membership is purchased.

Where automatic renewal is offered, this will be disclosed before the member agrees to the recurring payment arrangement.

Members may request cancellation of their membership or closure of their Her Place account by contacting Her Place.

Cancellation does not necessarily entitle a member to a refund for a period or service already provided, subject to rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Any refunds for paid memberships, events, products or services will be considered in accordance with the conditions applicable to the particular purchase and the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Member Resources and Downloads

Her Place may provide members or visitors with guides, worksheets, articles, templates, downloads and other resources.

Unless otherwise stated, Her Place resources are provided for personal use only.

You may download and use these resources for your own personal purposes.

Unless you have received permission from Her Place, you must not:

• sell or commercially distribute a Her Place resource
• reproduce or republish a resource as your own
• substantially copy or modify a resource for redistribution
• upload a resource to another website, membership platform or shared resource library
• distribute copies to others instead of directing them to Her Place.

Where a resource contains different usage or licensing terms, those specific terms will apply.

Events and Her Place Conversations

Her Place may offer events, workshops, gatherings and Her Place Conversations, either online or in person.

Individual events may have their own booking conditions, fees, cancellation arrangements, participant limits or other requirements.

Her Place Conversations are intended to provide welcoming opportunities for women to connect, reflect, listen and share experiences.

Participation in discussion is voluntary. You are never required to share personal information or experiences you would prefer to keep private.
Participants are expected to treat other attendees respectfully.

Personal stories or information shared by another participant should not be recorded, published or shared outside the gathering without that person’s permission.

Her Place Conversations, workshops and community activities are not counselling, therapy, medical care or other professional health services unless an appropriately qualified professional is specifically providing an identified service.

Community Conduct

Her Place aims to provide a respectful and supportive environment.

When participating in Her Place activities, member areas, discussions or events, you agree not to engage in harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive behaviour or deliberate disruption.

Her Place reserves the right to remove a participant from an online or in-person community activity where reasonably necessary to protect other participants or maintain a respectful environment.

Member-Submitted Content

You retain ownership of original content, photographs, logos and other material you provide to Her Place.

By submitting material for publication in your Directory profile or another agreed area of Her Place, you give Her Place permission to store, reproduce and display that material for the purpose for which it was submitted.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to provide that material.

Her Place may resize, crop or make reasonable formatting adjustments to submitted material where necessary for website presentation.

Featuring Directory Members

Her Place may provide opportunities for Directory members to be featured through articles, newsletters, social media or other Her Place communications.

Where material goes beyond displaying or promoting the member’s normal public Directory listing, we may seek additional permission from the member.

Members are not required to participate in promotional features as a condition of Directory membership.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Her Place name, branding, website design elements, original written material, guides, resources, graphics and other original Her Place content are owned by or licensed to Her Place Online Community.

These materials may not be reproduced, republished, sold or distributed without permission except where permitted by law or expressly allowed by Her Place.

Content belonging to Directory members, contributors or third parties remains the property of its respective owner.

Third-Party Businesses and Directory Listings

The Her Place Directory provides a way for visitors to discover independent businesses, organisations and services.

A listing in the Directory does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, guarantee or recommendation by Her Place.

Visitors should make their own enquiries and decisions before purchasing a product, engaging a service or entering into an agreement with a Directory member or other third party.

Her Place is not a party to transactions or agreements made directly between visitors and independent Directory businesses unless expressly stated otherwise.

External links

The Her Place website may contain links to third-party websites, social media accounts, services and resources.

Her Place does not control those external services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, products, services or privacy practices.

Accuracy of Information

We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but information can change and errors may occasionally occur.

Her Place does not guarantee that every piece of website content, Directory information or third-party information will always be complete, current or error-free.

We may correct, update or remove content when necessary.

Website Availability

We aim to keep Her Place available and operating reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. The website or particular services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Her Place is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general information provided through the website or from the independent actions, products or services of third parties listed, featured or linked through Her Place.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

Privacy

How we collect, use, store and manage personal information is explained in the Her Place Privacy Policy.

When you create an account, register for the Directory or use other Her Place services, you should also read our Privacy Policy.

Closing an Account or Removing a Directory Listing

You may contact Her Place to request closure of your account or removal of your Directory listing.

Her Place may retain certain records where reasonably necessary for legal, financial, security, administrative or record-keeping purposes.

Her Place may also suspend or close an account or listing where there has been a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

Her Place may update these Terms & Conditions as the community grows, services change or new activities are introduced.

The current version will be published on the Her Place website and will show the date it was last updated.

Where a significant change materially affects an existing paid membership or service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate that change where appropriate.
